Actrss Shin Ae will be in a new historical drama "The Iron Empress".

There has been a scandal that she has been in a relationship for 2 years. However, she has denied anything about this.

Shin Ae has risen as a star in 2001 where she modeled for a cosmetics commercial. She has been in dramas such as "Summer Scent", "War of the Roses", and the movie "Silver Knife".

She regrets not being able to learn more about acting in the historical dramas which are known to be difficult and more ciritcally judged.

Shin Ae is Queen Cheon-choo (Chae Shi-ra)'s and Seong-jong (Kim Myung-soo-I)'s younger sister as well as Hoo-wil and Hyeon-jong's mother. She is a bright woman with great personality and beauty however her love for her lover Wang-wook (Kim Ho-jin) could not be fulfilled. Shin Ae's character is tragic because she dies as she gives birth to her lover's child.
