BTS Receive 2nd Platinum Certification for a Single

BTS have earned their second platinum certification for a single from the Recording Industry Association of America.

The RIAA said on Monday that BTS's "Boy with Luv" featuring Halsey was certified as a platinum song last Thursday.

It is the band's second platinum single hit after "MIC Drop", which was recognized in November 2018, making the group the first K-pop act to earn more than one platinum certification.

The RIAA's certifications for single and album sales include gold (500,000 copies), platinum (1 million), multi-platinum (2 million) and diamond (10 million).
