BBC Features BoA as "New Face of Korea"

"News Night", BBC's representative program on current issues, has recently carried a special program entitled "Korean Waves". In the program, the British public broadcast network introduced Boa, 19, as "a new face of Korea who will publicize her country to the whole world".

In a 10-minute special program on "Hallyu" on July 28, Korean Standard Time, "News Night" introduced Boa as a representative singer of Korea. In addition, "My Name is Kim Sam-soon" was chosen as a representative Korean soap opera, and "Oldboy" as a representative Korean film.

BBC featured an interview of Boa by senior correspondent Charles Scanlon in a powder room of SBS TV during the live recording of a show entitled "Pop Song Live Show" on July 17. During the program, Boa sang her song "Girls on Top", the title song of her fifth album which topped the weekly list of pop songs.
