Bae Yong-joon Wows Japanese Travelers

The January issue of the in-flight magazine of Korean Air, which features an interview with Bae Yong-joon, is being snapped up by Japanese tourists who know the star as "Yonsama".
Passengers usually leave in-flight magazines on the plane. But when Japanese tourists heard that the "Morning Calm" featured the Bae Yong-joon interview, they started ringing airline offices asking to buy the magazine. The Japanese office of Korean Air said it was getting about ten calls daily inquiring about the magazine.

Korean Air decided to send an additional 10,000 issues of the magazine, on top of the previous 30,000, to Japan. The airline said Japanese travelers also responded positively to the fact that the interview appears in both Japanese and English.
In the interview, Bae reveals he admires Japanese actor Takakura Ken, adding his conviction that to perpetuate a "Korean culture boom in Japan" the two sides must continue cultural exchange.
