A source reported that Bae Yong-joon broke up with Koo So-hee, who he'd been seeing for over a year. The reason for the break up is unknown but they are not shy about announcing it.

Key East also confirmed that Bae Yong-joon and Koo So-hee broke up and that it was a private matter.

Their relationship was first heard of in December of 2013 in Japan. Nikkan Sports spotted Bae Yong-joon and Koo So-hee on a date in Tokyo and reported this fact. Korea, Japan and other parts of Asia were all interested about Bae Yong-joon's relationship status.

Attention poured over the Hallyu star and LS Industrial chairman's daughter Koo So-hee. Talk of marriage went around for a while after they went on vacation together but both sides claimed it was too soon.

Bae Yong-joon debuted in 1994 with the KBS drama "Love Greeting". Then he continued to star in various other dramas including "Hotelier" and even in movies such as "Untold Scandal" and others. He then hit the jackpot with the 2002 drama "Winter Sonata" all the way to Japan and earned the nickname 'Yonsama'. He is currently the biggest shareholder of Key East Entertainment.

Koo So-hee is the second daughter to Koo Ja-gyoon, the chairman of LS Group. She graduated Syracuse University in New York and attended Koryo graduate school. She worked for her father since 2010 but resigned in 2011. She has an outstanding part of the company's share with a value of roughly over 6 billion won.
