First of all, the drama "The Kidnapping Day" is an emotional thriller based on a novel of the same name written by Jung Hae-yeon, and is a unique work that depicts the special cooperation of the world of a clumsy kidnapper Myeong-joon (Yoon Kye-sang) and a cynical 11-year-old genius girl, Ro-hee (Yu Na).

Yoon Kye-sang plays the main character Kim Myeong-joon, Park Sung-hoon plays Park Sang-yoon, a detective chasing Kim Myeong-joon, and Yu Na, who made her debut in "Pachinko" last year and was selected through a 500-1 competition rate in the audition for "The Kidnapping Day".

In addition, "The Kidnapping Day" was selected as a support for the production of 2023 broadcasting content and will be broadcast through ENA and global OTT platforms in the second half of this year.

The drama "Like Flowers in Sand" is the first ssireum-based drama in Korea, and it is a youth-growth romantic comedy-drama that takes place when Kim Baek-doo (Jang Dong-yoon), a former ssireum prodigy who lives a rough life like dry sand, and Oh Yoo-kyeong (Lee Joo-myung), a small alley leader.

It is ASTORY of young people struggling to bloom in a sandboard against the backdrop of the human-smelling ssireum city of Geosan, starring Jang Dong-yoon, Lee Joo-myung, Kim Bo-ra, Lee Jae-joon and Lee Joo-seung.

On top of that, Kim Jin-woo-II, director of "Queen of Mystery", "Suits", and "Love Alarm - Season 2" and writer Won Yoo-jung with fresh writing skills, will work together. "Like Flowers in Sand" recently began shooting in earnest in May after reading the script and filming a test, and will be aired on global OTT and others later this year.

In addition, the traffic crime investigation drama "Crash" will be produced in the second half of the year. "Crash" is a drama about Cha Yeon-ho, a reasonable individualist from KAIST, and Min So-hee, a traffic investigation ace with cool judgment and warm sensitivity at the Traffic Crime Investigation (TCI).

Although it is a reality-based criminal investigation drama, the main material will be a rhythmical story composition that is not serious, heavy, or boring. Director Park Joon-woo of "Taxi Driver" returns with a warm and delicate sensibility through "Crash". It is currently in the casting stage.

Another work that will begin production in the second half of the year is the fantasy romantic comedy historical drama "Memoirs of Mercury Palace". It is a work based on a classic novel and contains a record of love and secrets written by 'writer' court lady Eun-yeong and 'reader' Crown Prince Hyang. Director Park Soo-jin-II, who was in charge of "Why Her?" and "Hymn of Death", will be the director, while the script will be accompanied by writer Lee Eun-mi-IV, who was discovered by the 2020 Content Agency's new artist project. It plans to announce a confirmed casting and platform soon.

ASTORY, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2023, will speed up preparations for the production of Park Jae-beom-I's new cyberpunk action drama "The Shaman" (tentative title). "The Shaman" (tentative title) is ASTORY's next tent pole drama, which will be produced as a global OTT series from planning to season and will be released for at least three seasons. From the drama planning stage, it plans to build a solid "The Shaman" universe by promoting it with various IP businesses such as games, metaverse, digital human, AI, and NFT.
