tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" (directed by Park Joon-hwa/written by Hong Jeong-eun, Hong Mi-ran), which will premiere on December 10th, is a fantasy romance in which the protagonists, whose fate has been twisted due to the alchemy that changes their souls, overcome and grow up against the backdrop of a great country that does not exist in history or map.

Among them, the relationship between a woman (Go Youn-jung) without memory, in the face of Jang Wook and Nak-soo even before the first broadcast, and the meaning of the subtitle "Light and Shadow" raises questions.

First of all, the subtitle "Light and Shadow" is a metaphor for the names of the two main characters. In the drama, Wook from Jang Wook is a shining light, and Nak-soo's real name, Cho-yeong's Yeong, is the shadow, and their names themselves are light and shadow. In particular, "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" heralds the encounter between the darkened light and the shadow that become the only light in the dark, which attracts attention with a poster copy saying "My Deep Darkness, The One and Only Shining You".

In "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow", Jang Wook eventually recognizes the woman and the woman remembers Jang Wook, signaling that the stain of the two people who joined together again will disappear. The chemistry between the two is expected to be reunited with such inseparable light and shadowy fate.

After saying, "The subtitle is the relationship between the two", the tvN production team hinted, "Through this, we will become light and shadow of each other, save each other, and show a deeper romance with a body-like fate that cannot be separated".
