"I appeared in a film as an extra by chance when I was in the fourth grade in elementary school. It was an eye-opening experience for me. I had no idea such a world existed, and it made me want to become an actress", she said.

She decided to major in acting, and attended auditions whenever she had the chance. It was through a friend she met at a film audition in 2008 that she landed her first job as a voice actress.

Told that a female voice was needed for a public campaign on the radio, Ji -- who was still in high school at the time -- auditioned for the role. "After the first recording, my voice sample circulated in the advertising industry, and I received many calls. That was the beginning of my career", she recalled.

Ji went on to college and studied film and theater at Myongji University, while still working as a part-time voice actress. Her big break came when she was asked to record the narration for an ad featuring star figure skater Kim Yu-na during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The performance was well-received and made Ji's name in the industry. She became a full-time voice actress at the age of 26 and has been active in all types of advertising ever since.

Ji has a clear voice that conveys a sense of positivity in commercials, and her background in film and theater has given her a big range.

She continues to pursue her dream of acting in film and TV, and has had small roles in several films and dramas such as "A Violent Prosecutor" and "Signal"
