Actor So Ji-sub to Begin Military Service

Actor So Ji-sub, best known for last year's hit miniseries "I'm Sorry, I Love You", will enlist in the army on Feb 28.

Upon completion of four weeks of basic training, So will serve at the Mapo-gu Ward Office as a "kongik-yowon", which is a public servant position used to fulfill the military service requirement.

The model-turned-actor has played many minor roles but only after taking on the lead role of Mu-hyok in the KBS drama did he become really popular.

So is currently in Yokohama, Japan, filming a music video for singer Cho Sung-mo's upcoming album. He is cast alongside actress Kim Jeong-eun in Cho's title track video, "Nunmul Nayo".
