Actor Kim Beom is now fifth in the world in terms of most Facebook friends.

It's only been 10 days since Kim's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/kimbeom) even opened on April 18th, but it already has over 2.59 million friends. These "friends" consist of people from 20 different countries including Indonesia, United States, Singapore, Mexico, and France.

According to famecount.com, which is a social network ranking website, the number of Kim Beom's friends place him at number five worldwide. He's behind only Jackie Chan, Ashton Kutcher, Lee Min-ho (www.facebook.com/OfficialLeeMinho), and Taraji Penda Henson. He's actually ahead Hollywood stars like Emma Watson (6th), Demi Moore (9th), and Ben Stiller (11th).

The young talent shared on his Facebook page through a video clip, "I created an official Facebook account to get closer with fans from all over the world. I hope to show you the fun side of my life and deliver current news. I hope you'll take interest in my page".

His reps attributed to his popularity on Facebook to his hit drama series like "Boys over Flowers" and "The Woman Who Still Wants To Marry".
