'The Phone' Bae Sung-woo to play a murderer twice in a row

"The Phone" Bae Sung-woo said that there were no difficulties in playing a murderer twice in a row.

On September 14th, he attended a press conference for movie, "The Phone". He talked about his playing murderer role again after his role in movie "The Office", "The characters' emotions and motive of murder are so different. They are completely different roles".

Bae Sung-woo continued on, "It is not like I thought I would play the roles differently. Because the stories and the characters are different, I did not have to worry about playing a murderer again".

He explained, "The character in "The Office" is someone who did not have the slightest hope he would have to give up. The one in "The Phone" is someone who take actions to survive".

"The Phone" is an action thriller depicting a desperate fight crossing time and space by a husband, who earned just one chance to revive his dead wife, when he received a phone call exactly one year later from the date his wife had been murdered. Son Hyun-joo, Uhm Ji-won, Bae Sung-woo and Roh Jeong-eui star in this movie, which will be released on October 22nd.
