'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance': selection as the second rank among 'Harry's Top 20 Films To Watch For In 2005!!!'.

The U.S'. popular movie site www.aintitcool.com has chosen Director Park Chan-wook's new film 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' from South Korea as the second rank among 'Harry's Top 20 Films To Watch For In 2005!!!'.

The movie site has also selected director Peter Jackson's 'King Kong' as the first rank among 'Harry's Top 20 Films To Watch For in 2005!!!.

Mr. Harry Knowles who operates this site, said director Park's movie will be the final film in Park's thematically linked trilogy of revenge flicks that started with Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and continued with the massively acclaimed Oldboy.

According to Mr. Harry Knowles, he has become an enthusiastic fan for director Park after he saw 'Oldboy' and the site operator has become a topic of conversation at domestic movie circles by selecting 'Taegukgi: The brotherhood of War' as the first rank among Harry's Top 10 Films in 2004.

Currently, not only Japan, but also Europe are showing great interest in movie 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' in that the movie is a finale of director Park Chan-wook's revenge movies following 'Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance' and 'Oldboy'.

This movie is scheduled to be released in June, this year. CJ Entertainment, the movie's distribution firm expected that 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' would be able to pass over a record of 'Oldboy', considering that by far heaps of people express interest in the movie more than director Park's previous vengeance movies.
