The first episode of KBS 2TV's Friday and Saturday drama, "Producers" was aired at 9:15 PM on May 15th. According to Nielsen Korea on May 16th, "Producers" earned 10.1% rating.

It was the second highest one following SBS 'Rules of Jungle' among programs during the same airtime. It proved the star-studded cast including Kim Soo-hyun, Kong Hyo-jin, Lee Ji-eun, and Cha Tae-hyun made their strong presence felt.

The unfriendly first encounter between 'Music Bank' producer, Tak Ye-jin (Kong Hyo-jin) and the new hire in the entertainment department, producer Kim Soo-hyun (Baek Seong-chan), the tense mental play between Kong Hyo-jin and the top singer Cindy, (Lee Ji-eun), the troublesome situation with 'One Night Two Days' producer Cha Tae-hyun (Ra Joon-mo), brought such entertainment.

Kim Soo-hyun revealed the clumsy and unwitty side of the newly hired producer role in front of Cha Tae-hyun and Kong Hyo-jin. He showed the unexpected performance beyond his usual acting spectrum.

Kong Hyo-jin brought up her character to life perfectly, who acts cool and strong in front of her junior employees, however lowers her stance in front of the top singer, Lee Ji-eun.

Cha Tae-hyun (Ra Joon-mo) had the difficult time due to the low viewership rating of 'One Night Two Days' program. Lee Ji-eun (Cindy) turned into a famous top singer, who was such a cold and icy princess.
