'Grandpas over Flower in Spain' Launches in Korea to Record Ratings

Popular and Comedic Show Back for Third Season

CJ E&M successfully began airing Grandpas over Flower in Spain, the third season of the hit Grandpas over Flower series, on its general entertainment channel tvN on March 7. The premier episode recorded record average ratings of 7.7% (and a peak of 9.5%) according to AGB Nielsen Korea, topping all other TV shows in Korea in its primetime Friday night timeslot.

First aired in 2013, Grandpas over Flowers is a travel-themed reality show starring veteran actors in their 70's who visit various destinations accompanied by a popular young Korean actor. The show has received stellar reviews from fans and critics alike for its amusing portrayals of inter-generational interaction and the new life of leisure being lived by many adventurous elderly. The new season of Grandpas over Flowers airs on tvN every Friday at 9:50 P.M. (KST).
