'Arrow' sells to 6 countries at Cannes market

A local period epic "Arrow the Ultimate Weapon" sold to buyers from six countries at the film market in Cannes, the film's local distributor Lotte Entertainment said Tuesday.
A one-minute clip and four to five still cuts were presented at the market and buyers from the United Kingdom, Germany, Benelux and Indonesia, among other countries, purchased rights to distribute the film.
"Arrow", currently in production and slated for release in local theaters in August, is directed by Kim Han-min and stars a cast of renowned actors including Park Hae-il and Ryo Seung-yong.
Set in ancient Korea, the action film is about a young man who sets out to save his kidnapped sister with nothing but a single arrow.
