'A Thousand Plateaus' by director JANG Sun-Woo is sold to an Italian Film company

Korean Movie 'A Thousand Plateaus' by director Jang Sun-woo was sold to an Italian Film company 'Luck Red'.


The Screen International, a film-special magazine, reported that this movie's copy right for Italia,
Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands was sold to a consortium comprised of European film makers including Luck Red in EFM (European Film Market) held in Germany during the period of the 55th Berlin International Film Festival recently.


Moive 'A Thousand Plateaus' is scheduled to be shot on the spot in Mongolia from May with a budget of $2.5 million.


Director Jang Sun-woo's new movie 'A Thousand of Plateaus' had attracted interest by luring foreign capital of $1 million from Japan counterpart Happinet Pictures last year though the movie is not still released.


'A Thousand of Plateaus', is a film related to 'Morin Tologaihole', Mongolia's traditional musical instrument.
