KBS's new daily drama "Su-ji and U-ri" which is scheduled to air for the first time next month, unveiled its lineup of mid-aged actors on Wednesday. "Su-ji and U-ri" is a story about a star doctor Jin Soo-ji (Ham Eun-jung) and a first-time doctor Chae Woo-ri (Baek Sung-hyun).

Sun-woo Jae-duk plays Han Jin-tae, a neurosurgeon who is the head of Haedul Hospital and an expert in brain surgery. Although he is married to Kim Ma-ri (Kim Hee-jung-II), he has become estranged due to past accidents. Kim Hee-jung-II plays the role of Han Jin-tae's wife Kim Ma-ri. She is the chairman of Haedul Hospital Foundation and has a unique aura that no one can afford.

Yoon Da-hoon plays the role of Jin Jang-soo, the biological father of Jin Soo-ji and the current husband of Jang Yoon-ja (Jo Mi-ryung). He is an ambitious businessman aspiring to be the next Baek Jong-won. Jin Jang-soo has exceptional business savvy but he also has the disadvantage of trusting others easily. Jang Yoon-ja, played by Jo Mi-ryung, is the stepmother of Jin Soo-ji and the birth mother of Jin Na-yeong (Kang Byul). She is the one who gave birth to a son 27 years ago and occupies Seon-yeong's master bedroom. Seo Kwon-soon plays Park Bok-seon, the mother of Jin Jang-soo (Yoon Da-hoon). Park Bok-seon used to be from a family who was rich in land, but now she is in debt and is living with her son.

Kang Woo-chang, played by Lim Ho, is Seon-yeong's partner who runs a Korean restaurant. He farms in the suburbs to source organic farm products to the restaurants and serves as vice chef. Despite his taciturn personality, he is a genuine person. Kang Jeong-soon, played by Lee Sang-sook, is the older sister of Kang Woo-chang (Lim Ho), who works at the Korean restaurant. She and Oh Seon-yeong, the owner of the Korean restaurant, have lived together for more than 20 years. Despite her rough mouth and fists, she is like a sturdy fence for her family.

Director Park Gi-hyeon, who has shown delicate productions through "Vengeance of the Bride", "Red Shoes", and "Unasked Family" and writer Nam Sun-hye, who has boasted strong handwriting skills through "Amor Fati" and "Please, Summer" agreed. "Su-ji and U-ri" will be broadcast for the first time next month following "Unpredictable Family".
