Lee Sung-kyung Makes Donation for the Elderly Living Alone

Actor Lee Sung-kyung presented warmth to the elderly living alone.

At the end of last year, Lee Sung-kyung delivered a donation of 50 million won to the Comprehensive Support Center for the Elderly Living Alone. The donation will be used for sponsorship and self-reliance support programs to protect vulnerable elderly people who are struggling in their daily lives.

Earlier, it was reported that Lee Sung-kyung donated 100 million won to the Dankook University Hospital Regional Trauma Center for the development of severe trauma treatment in Korea after her appearance in the "Dr. Romantic" series. In addition, Lee Sung-kyung participates in the donation process whenever large and small disasters such as COVID-19, forest fires, and flood damage occur, and practices constant interest and good deeds for the vulnerable, adding warmth to society.

Lee Sung-kyung said, "I wanted to convey my respect and love to those who have lived their lives worthwhile. I hope it will be of help to the elderly who are alone so that they do not feel lonely", adding, "I wanted to end the year by sharing the great love I received from many people in 2023 with the world".
