Lee Bong-ryeon to Star in "Resident Playbook"

Actress Lee Bong-ryeon will appear in Director Sin Won-ho's new drama "Resident Playbook".

tvN's new drama "Resident Playbook" is a drama that depicts real hospital life and friendship stories of university hospital professors and residents.

In the drama, Lee Bong-ryeon transforms into a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Jongno Yulje and tries to play the role of a doctor for the first time since her debut.

Director Sin Won-ho and writer Lee Woo-jeong-I, who created the "Answer" series and the "Playlist" series, are working together. Go Youn-jung, Shin Si-a, Han Ye-ji, Kang You-seok, and Jung Joon-won-I have confirmed their appearances.

Lee Bong-ryeon will play Kim Yeong-joo, who is a close friend of Nam Haeng-seon (Jeon Do-yeon) who runs a side dish shop together in tvN's "Crash Course in Romance". In JTBC's "Destined With You", she played the role of Ma Eun-yeong, a girl-crush boss, and Lee Tae-yeong, Korea's first female lawyer in "Baekindang Tae-young", a musical drama.

Lee Bong-ryeon's "Resident Playbook" is scheduled to air in the first half of 2024.
