Hwang Chan-sung will appear in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Bitter Sweet Hell" which is scheduled to be organized next year, his agency said on the 21st, adding, "He will work with actress Kim Hee-sun".

"Bitter Sweet Hell" is a human black comedy drama about No Yeong-won, the best family psychological counseling in Korea, trying to protect her family in cooperation with her mother-in-law, Hong Sa-gang, a mystery writer, as her career and family are threatened by an unknown blackmailer, while Hwang Chan-sung plays No Yeong-min, the younger brother of No Yeong-won, played by Kim Hee-sun.

Hwang Chan-sung said, "I'm looking forward to working with great seniors I've always admired, but it makes me seriously think about how to do better", adding, "I'm getting good synergy by working with actors on the spot rather than learning the script alone".

Earlier, Hwang Chan-sung played the role of No Joo-wan, a magical bad man who makes Yoo In-na cry in "Bo-ra! Deborah", and there is high expectation for what kind of new acting transformation he will make in this work.

Meanwhile, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Bitter Sweet Hell", starring actors Kim Hee-sun and Lee Hye-young-I, is scheduled to air next year.
