[HanCinema's News] Lotte World Opens up "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" Event

On June 24th, the South Korean theme park Lotte World opened up a special event based on "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" which was released via Netflix that same day. "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" has some of its major plot points take place in Lotte World, and is acting at least in part as promotional material for the theme park. The event is centered around the magic castle of the theme park, where some filming for the drama took place.

The event will continue until July 10th, at which point the magic castle and other promotional areas of the park will return to their prior condition. "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area" is based on the Spanish drama of the same title, with its many cast members maintaining the same general story roles and names of their counterparts from the original work. The work is directed by Kim Hong-seon-I who is responsible for such dramas as "Warrior Baek Dong-soo" from 2011 and "Black" from 2017.
