"Doctor Slump" Reading Session

JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Doctor Slump" (played by Baek Seon-woo, directed by Oh Hyeon-jong) unveiled the scene of the script reading on the 5th. Actors Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye will reunite as doctors.

"Doctor Slump" is a romantic comedy-drama. It depicts the CPR of two doctors who are facing the darkest period in their lives. Director Oh Hyeon-jong of "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo" and writer Baek Seon-woo of "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" are gathered together.

The script reading was attended by a large number of production staff and cast actors. Park Hyung-sik, Park Shin-hye, Yoon Park, Kong Seong-ha, Jang Hye-jin, Hyun Bong-sik, Yoon Sang-hyeon, Oh Dong-min, Park Won-ho, Kang Sang-jun, and Jung Ji-soon gathered in one place.

Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye reunited ten years after "The Heirs". First of all, Park Hyung-sik transformed into a star plastic surgeon named Yeo Jeong-woo. He falls into an abyss after a mysterious medical accident.

Park Shin-hye announced the return of Rom-com queen as an anesthesiologist named Nam Ha-neul. Ha-neul is a woman who is crazy about work. One day, she suffers from Burn Out Syndrome and starts looking back on herself.

Yoon Park will play the role of a plastic surgeon named Bin Dae-yeong. Dae-yeong has a sense of rivalry with Jeong-woo (Na Hol-lo). But he understands him better than anyone else. He is both serious and slick.

Kong Seong-ha plays Nam Ha-neul's best friend and anesthesiologist Lee Hong-ran. Hong-ran is a person who strangely intertwines with Nam Ha-neul from college to medical major.

Nam Ha-neul's family also adds flavor to the drama. Jang Hye-jin plays Gong Wol-seon, her mother.

Hyun Bong-sik plays Gong Tae-seon, the uncle.

Yoon Sang-hyeon becomes Nam Ba-da, Ha-neul's younger brother.

The production team said, "Yeo Jeong-woo and Nam Ha-neul share the most splendid and humble times. The romance between the two will bring excitement and empathy".

"Doctor Slump" will premiere on the 27th of next month.
